I read Haidt’s book some time ago, and am seeing now – sadly -how it is playing out in the wider society.
Regarding The Middle way, I think that investigating the work of Dr. Iain McGilchrist would be of great interest – not to speak of import. His ‘opus Magnus’ “The Master And His Emissary” is very dense. Though worth the effort it’s a difficult intro to his thesis.
However I think it is probably the single most important work I’ve ever read.
